Dr Kathy CornackKathy Cornack is a registered veterinarian and a professional animal behavior consultant.Currently based in Brisbane, Australia, Kathy has been involved professionally in the animal care industry for the past 27 years.

Kathy combines her extensive background in holistic animal care, with positive behavior training and management strategies. The aim is to help families optimize their relationship with their animal, live in awareness and ultimately, for people and their animals to fullfill their highest potential.

Kathy has an extensive list of professional qualifications relating to veterinary science, animal behavior and nutrition including:

Kathy and her approach are unique. Her approach is truly holistic, bringing together the best from both the main stream and the alternative/complementary. What is also unique about Kathy is her balance of the impirical and the inutitive.Not only does she have a strong academic and technical background, but she has exceptionally well developed intuitive skills. Kathy has trained as an animal communicator, and received advanced reiki training. Her advice is strongly guided by what she picks up at an intuitive level from the animals and people she works with. Kathy works strongly at the level of spirit.

Kathy has loved animals all her life. Animal companions through the years have included dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rats, mice, fish, birds, horses, lambs, calves and a joey kangaroo. Kathy is passionate about improving the understanding, respect and humane care of animals. Further more, her life's mission is to help all living beings grow to their fullest potential, living and working in spirit.

It is from this background of skills, experience and professionalism , and from this unique perspective, that Kathy offers her services to animals and their people.

Kathy loves "old dogs and children, and watermelon wine!!". Animals and children have taught her so much and continue to do so. Her greatest joy and teacher is her 12 y.o. daughter. The great animal loves of her life have been her dog "Tess"; her joey "Roogle James"; "Jenny Cow"and "Angelina" the rat.

In her private time, Kathy enjoys gardening, fragrant flowers, animals of all types, tent camping in beautiful places, fires, nordic skiing, music, singing, cooking and eating delicious food, organic food markets, travel, beach walks, cricket, classes on spritual enlightenment, yoga, meditiation and hanging out with her family and friends: all preferably in the sunshine!!.

Kathy lives in Brisbane, Australia with her partner and daughter. They currently share their home with a dog, Nimby ; two cats, Barney and Suki; three hens, Kelly Cluckson, Princess Laya and Meryl Cheep; and lots of animals who visit their large garden.

Kathy is a registered Veterinarian in Queensland, Australia. Local clients can use her services for all issues related to their animals health, care and well being.
